TOSC '26 is engineered into three age-customized participant pools (Pool A, Pool B, Pool C) and two progressive phases to rigorously assess aptitude reasoning, general awareness, and creative problem solving.

Two-Phase Championship
Phase 1: Online Examination
Mode: Online (Techkriti Platform)
Held Online, consisting of objective type questions on aptitude reasoning and general awareness (60 mins). Top 100 participants each from Pool B and Pool C are invited for Phase 2 at IIT Kanpur.
Phase 2: Grand Finale @ IIT Kanpur
Mode: Offline at IIT Kanpur
Conducted Offline on the IIT Kanpur campus. Comprises a variety of puzzles and competitive activities to decide the winners, along with exhibitions, workshops, campus tour, and talks by renowned personalities.

Examination Guidelines
Rules & Code of Conduct
Candidates must be currently enrolled in Classes 6th through 12th (Pool A: 6th-8th, Pool B: 9th-10th, Pool C: 11th-12th).
Phase 1 is an Online examination with a 60-minute duration containing objective-type questions.
Top 100 participants each from Pool B and Pool C will be invited for Phase 2 conducted Offline at IIT Kanpur.
Winners from each pool will get Gold and Silver certificates, prizes up to 5 Lakh, and the opportunity to visit ISRO and other science centers like ARIES.
Decisions of the Academic Committee and Organizing Body of Techkriti, IIT Kanpur are final and binding.
